Julia Bunn: Principal Consultant (Occupational Therapist)
Julia graduated from the University of QLD in 1994 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Hon class 1. She worked for several highly respected organisations in the field of injury management and occupational rehabilitation before setting up Easec Occupational Health Pty Ltd in April 2005. Determined to develop a company focused on the provision of exceptional quality services, Julia has ensured Easec has a reputation for exceptional standards of work in the field of injury management.
She is an active member on the executive team of the Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association (ARPA) and is committed to ongoing professional development in the field of injury management. With 21 years of experience in the industry, Julia possesses a wealth of knowledge and understanding of customers needs and is able to deliver results in all areas of workplace rehabilitation.
Antoinette (Toni) Both (Psychologist)
Toni completed a Bachelor of Arts double majoring in psychology through the University of QLD in 1996 and further accomplished a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Science Psychology in 1997. She has also completed training and certification in the practice of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy through CBT Australia and Mediation Training through Resolutions Australia.
Toni joined Easec in 2005 when the company commenced and continues to provide exceptional services in the field of case management, adjustment to injury counseling and all psychological assessment and management with regards to rehabilitation in the workplace.
Toni has developed strong relationships with many of Easec’s customers and is the key account manager in regards to all private insurance referrals, such as income protection and TPD claims. She has also been involved in the provision of support to community groups, using her expertise to assist with both group and individual counseling for people who have experienced psychological trauma through life events. Toni is highly respected for her compassionate and results-driven approach to injury management, particularly when dealing with psychological claims.
Vhari Geary (Occupational Therapist)
Vhari graduated in 1985 from the University of QLD as an Occupational Therapist and has also completed Post Graduate studies gaining a Graduate Diploma of Social Science (Counseling) in 1995.
Over her 30 years of being qualified as an OT, Vhari has gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience, with a focus on supporting individuals to be able to perform to the best of their abilities both in the workplace and with leisure and home life activities. She has a particular interest and experience in pain management and her expertise in formulating strategies to help individuals deal with pain while participating in the workplace achieves results in the management of sometimes complex cases through the RTW process.
Vhari has highly developed skills in the area of workplace assessment; work capacity assessment and formulation of durable return to work plans and programs.
Jacinda Keane (Occupational Therapist)
Jacinda graduated from the University of QLD in 2004 and has worked in the field of occupational rehabilitation since her graduation, demonstrating her passion for the principles of workplace rehabilitation and the belief that this is a primary driver in assisting individual’s recovery from injury. She acts as the account manager for Department of Veterans Affairs referrals for Easec, and is highly experienced in the service provision required for complex RTW cases.
Jacinda also has proven experience in and a strong motivation for maximising quality of life outcomes for clients with complex medical management issues. She is also very experienced in activities of daily living (ADL) home assessments and the provision of recommendations for modifications and/or equipment. She is also practiced in the completion of functional capacity evaluations and the provision of case management services for a variety of employers working under differing legislative requirements.
Danielle Chiswell (Occupational Therapist)
Danielle graduated from the University of QLD in 2011 and provides complex case management services to Easec customers for RTW programs and medical management of serious injury.
Danielle, like all Easec professionals, believes in the positive benefit of workplace based intervention and rehabilitation, and is skilled in communication with all stakeholders to achieve results and durable outcomes in all her case management activities. She demonstrates enthusiasm and drive in her practice, and has a passion for supporting customers with complex physical and mental health conditions.
Serina Madigan (Occupational Therapist)
Serina graduated from the University of QLD in 2013 and has experience in the areas of paediatrics, acute neurology, acute neurosurgery and geriatric care. She provides complex case management services to Easec customers for medical management, psychosocial and RTW programs. Serina values the importance of fostering a holistic approach to rehabilitation and considers all aspects of a person to achieve best possible outcomes. She is passionate about rehabilitation and demonstrates advanced communication skills with all key stakeholders and she implements high-level problem solving skills to overcome barriers to rehabilitation progress.
Ian graduated from the University of Ballarat in 2000 with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree, majoring in exercise scienceÂ and returned to complete a graduate diploma specialising in Exercise Rehabilitation in 2002. He has also completed a graduate certificate in Ergonomics at Latrobe University in 2013.
Having initially spent time working as an accredited exercise physiologist in various hospital/community settings, Ian has spent the past 9 years working in the occ rehab industry providing work hardening and pain management services, and more recently case management for return to work clients (new & same employer services) working for several national organisations.
Ian has a speciality in ergonomics and worksite assessments, with a focus on injury/health prevention in the workplace. He has extensive experience in complex case management, working across a wide variety of legislations and compensation models.
Debbie works where her passion lies – assisting people to find work. She has always been involved in assisting friends and colleagues with job applications, and formalised her skills in this area with a Diploma of Management and Cert IV in Career Development in 2012. Prior to this she worked for many years in Policy Advice and Project Management with various government departments.
Since working full time as a Careers Advisor, Debbie has fine-tuned her skills in resume preparation, selection criteria, finding work trials, and training and supporting individual’s throughout all aspects of job search. She provides an outcome focused and supportive service to meet our customer’s specific needs.
Rochelle graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science in 2002 and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) in 2003. She returned to complete a Masters of Human Services (Rehabilitation Counselling) in 2010. Rochelle has 12 years experience working in the field of counselling and mental health, and has over 10 years experience working specifically in the field of vocational and occupational rehabilitation both in Australia and the UK.
Rochelle’s specific areas of interest include psychological health and wellbeing in the workplace, vocational assessment and counselling, medico-legal assessment and promoting successful return to-work/employment. She has experience in managing cases with complex needs or co-morbidity across a variety of legislations and frameworks. Rochelle is a co-author of a published paper Early developmental trends on time- and event- based prospective memory tasks published in Australian Educational and Developmental Psychologist.
Amy graduated from La Trobe University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science with a double major in Psychology and Psychobiology. She has worked in the area of occupational rehabilitation for 14 years, and is passionate about helping people overcome their barriers and return to work. Amy has a special interest in working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and has completed further training through the Australian Centre for Post Traumatic Health at Melbourne University.
Amy is competent in complex case management, and developing and supporting people on medical management rehabilitation programs. Amy is skilled at developing and monitoring suitable duties plans to assist people in returning to work, as well as performing Vocational Assessments and Vocational Counselling to assist people to determine new job goals. She is alsoÂ experienced at developing resumes and assisting clients with job seeking activities and interviewing techniques.
Amy has worked with a variety of different customers and under different legislations. She is particularly familiar and interested in working with clients from the Australian Defence Force (ADF), and Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA).
